Job Summary:
$ N. k/ r3 L# H/ A0 ^! Q( o* bThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:7 G' `" z# p+ d* }3 ^
! t* Z5 y) M1 q& c5 Y5 p" c$ V
Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
! q' c( c+ K) H4 zInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
" B3 \$ q b" h9 ~1 ELoads and unloads non-ferrous material
' w) d! ?% f' H/ V# QMust be able to work safely at all times4 X( L0 O: L6 H
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
: F t6 P0 [3 B9 D+ O6 f! sPerforms routine housekeeping.4 t8 l' H1 U8 q/ R+ w! p" @
Observes and reports any safety issues- z; Z3 v3 h" n9 f2 c$ H
Other duties may be assigned

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing% H Q9 `% I4 G% I
High school diploma (Or GED)
& V3 h7 }' p9 s& _' H1 I) MWell-articulated and assertive: K* _# p5 v; D l/ P
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization' [% z" a, H5 y5 Q' {$ _' f+ X+ `( z
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
