Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Job Responsibilities:

" S. I" F k% Y9 K1 K/ t# WMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
; w9 U3 a2 n5 `Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials% R2 @ _# }/ K: I! Y
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
0 l$ W" M* m- J, t& t# Y( P/ N% yMust be able to work safely at all times
/ E% E, d$ ~2 G9 V% S, _Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
1 a9 \& P) C4 O1 n b9 b, e8 WPerforms routine housekeeping.

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
0 A$ ]' B- [0 L8 VHigh school diploma (Or GED)
5 F; } ^# u2 _Well-articulated and assertive
3 R+ C5 }0 {! @. W& s* N* _Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization/ q- s1 V5 g9 S! H( z' q8 u L
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
