Class 1 Driver Needed

CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

+ G( [6 Q6 W6 n. B6 x- W; N· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
* c* ~0 f# u0 Q# R  s+ y. }
2 G! M/ K4 s% `  D4 K; h· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
3 X' G8 G% l  Q+ u. G8 g
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

$ T9 X- [6 j5 y0 E5 K6 _· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Secure loads safely

Qualifications and Training Requirements
5 |0 a1 `- a6 C1 v4 e
· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

* @) {. V. _. E* h  Z0 \/ p' }; k6 h· Load securement certification

0 E* _' y2 _- C. @8 Z- b. w2 [· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

7 C6 v2 R( Y! @( @; y· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

8 f( ^3 l, w3 Z" K· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
