CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

' V0 X% \) q" f7 _" [% |  W· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
' Q8 `7 V3 `0 s/ a: K2 H
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
0 |# S) T# q9 Z* ]! E
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

4 X, ?: \5 U3 S7 s· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
: ^. ^% ?0 Q) i  J4 l- M/ N/ g
0 I. d+ L! z& f/ Z% y. R0 u· Operate manual and automatic shifts

4 r5 [6 Y: P) C+ X· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

$ C5 R7 o5 O) d0 |  L' E· Minimum 3 years experience

6 v9 Y0 [4 Y/ Q  D7 H7 q9 d3 l· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

) x; K5 L5 r# j* i6 u2 ?· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

) c9 R! n8 y* c6 l* Z* V9 ^9 G· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

% ^. p, W: n$ {2 U- O, q, B/ ]· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
