Class 1 Driver Needed

CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
! R* p5 I* P8 Q& t% ~3 K' v
; ~  P. d8 |7 A! |/ ?5 R2 @. W· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

3 {$ D6 X% K$ ~+ a' y· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

7 U* a- s: ~) p% e· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

& s' N. e2 k8 Y9 h* OQualifications and Training Requirements

1 P; E1 f2 x$ ~2 t% C· Minimum 3 years experience
* ?/ m7 \& }6 Y/ k5 Y: q
· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

% }9 [! }) `! ]3 {1 b2 H# V: o9 R· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

  |/ x, L; S! j9 |+ J  Q& M, x· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

3 ~* J& R% S0 h7 C# q· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
