This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

8 x* o  C3 R' tThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
, t) y/ o5 Y3 {3 Z$ l3 t-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

, x0 P0 [! n6 s- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
& p) v, B1 a4 ~. s3 B- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
