This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
8 d& u: b: w) a9 {8 O3 z$ m-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
$ T3 w/ p$ k' @% V$ V" X9 o* ~
Requirements:
& Z& D' {; z2 ^3 p* w8 C; r* I/ T% d; @- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
% X* m  {% ]% ]) @) T; K( c; e# q1 r+ D- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
3 K8 J+ ^7 X# |+ h: U- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
( T: x& I& R- z* u! s& W' S$ g- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
( z' u: S4 ^1 K  N4 K- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
' a% V+ }) }( `- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
