0 [& a' m2 C! i1 M7 G* oThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
- s! q9 L3 p4 M4 z-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
- A; D3 Q! F; S5 Y2 j-        Building and managing supplier relationships
. z/ O5 u, F+ }/ @$ F-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
7 g* z0 A) R4 m4 m- Sound research skills
7 i( I4 U, F" o5 H& b8 M  T! P- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
/ m+ Y3 j0 S, A( P  g# `- Strong organization and time management skills
% h( B" I" I7 D+ k6 w- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
# r$ [4 g/ h: `1 J9 c; z5 a& ^; z) o- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
3 P  k" G( I0 y4 r- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
