This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.
! E* X4 [. B# k$ k
The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
# E' Z8 T! C( J. N-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
( _- q% I, z8 Z-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

* `+ t7 ~+ m7 f1 Z) q% }" ]$ [Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
% K4 _1 v" a6 P* k! k- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
