3 h9 ` |( }: M jPLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.$ V; v; K W0 n, |# A4 t
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.% ?0 e2 P8 N3 X( Y; K: {
Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.% V2 y' y/ j' Q& g$ P) ?* |
Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
: P3 L6 M: A) W- k# C. OInterpret and follow contract and customer specifications
3 p7 _) B6 q1 K2 G1 Z5 EContribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.3 j4 F0 p" Q" Z, x( X+ U `2 F8 D
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.
# N8 [6 G2 G: Z5 h0 MLead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed

Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution0 @" C" c' i( I7 X( g" X0 g
Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed
+ Z2 F3 t8 Q. u6 FEstablish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.
$ H( ?! n2 d& I; {1 X3 X; ?Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)7 {+ w. u p) }& N) q
Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed
( Q8 [! m( B( S( e) tWork with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing3 t) b8 y8 _, o; G, H$ Z2 C
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure: z& _' y# G& V! [7 ]
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.4 X' s, c6 X( \/ O# S/ P# V

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College6 k0 Q9 g- N3 O. M
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
! A9 ^" K3 I( pAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)

Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities

+ n1 B2 p* b' u( E' T' p9 m; y' L0 _Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies5 p2 X* E. l7 t3 O4 e+ |. m9 H& x& o: F E4 q

Mechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)% e5 u& F: @8 S% k

Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents
