PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.
# C. S; m4 `" a4 xConfiguration and testing of PLC data and IO networks., e E! q* Y5 v' l* h" ?$ h9 l) H
Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
8 z: i, {. e zCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
0 p$ u- C- B9 z& gInterpret and follow contract and customer specifications/ p* |) D( k. W
Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind./ |1 N f9 w2 a1 ~& p9 e3 v
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.0 ~! o( _4 _% V6 m, K5 e
Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed
( W! H1 H/ ~$ g/ RCommunicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences' ^4 v6 Q1 K9 u8 y
Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution
4 q m x, A& L) bWork with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed

Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)7 @) L, D; A, Z
Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed: g8 x# T \. Z" v+ H; [% [
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing( t# G! C5 [8 J9 x
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure
) d4 [7 L; U9 a% XOccasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College% \; D' T* r# x) z' a$ R
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.8 K1 V2 T7 ~/ u. Q% `" w
Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)
% D% |) { B# u3 D& T9 B7 WExperience interpreting process control documents.9 V& W& X; c9 ?" @. X
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
0 l! y% Z4 _- Y; eProven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards

Strong focus on customer relationships (external/internal). Understands balance between customer and teams

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.& s1 U, P9 a, ?" M- P% Q
Mechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)

Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents+ u( y, }0 L0 v9 ~6 d1 H
