: G$ ^, J3 ^. n& z ]7 XAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:. c2 {9 o: Y' M5 {( y( Z) S5 K

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. % h4 ]8 e. {% `/ [% r; u9 {
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 0 {/ S0 M Y/ `5 \) V
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
4 N% M, `2 T/ c0 n5 l* ~* K- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. # f; R0 s Q5 G8 k. ~
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
! t2 @1 O/ R; Z1 A: c- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
% f$ F, I# H4 b* F' n: V. L0 h- Managing shift expense budgets.

- Strong leadership skills 7 m" r" M8 \3 t6 D5 R
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
$ i" ?0 o5 i+ R& s! {- T- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills ! d% d0 i6 I4 z; l4 O/ _
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
0 C4 [1 J g" r2 r- @& s+ ?9 M- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.; z+ B, H: ^" J2 d
