, g& E# ^1 H9 x) _6 y: r- ZAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:* x' i' y4 Q2 [! L+ W% \# ~7 E
& `4 R: U `) O& l* W
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
2 b j8 R1 n' ~- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. l* x! Z$ {. ~8 b# W
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. - w6 f0 a' s+ ]: t
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
" v/ V8 D- y$ U9 P- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
4 h6 L, K& U! K, R5 N- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 9 _; b# h, c; S8 d- U# O
- Managing shift expense budgets.

- Previous supervisory experience
7 P4 N, @* K# \) J- t- Strong leadership skills ; y$ ~, H2 z7 N0 q% t) C
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma ( L, N1 p1 L% t( z7 [- d* }
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
; m. `7 S1 F' T- Z- a3 H- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations - u% S% U6 ?2 C
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
