As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:( F) A7 [( L. G* j7 L7 d

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. / K; ?/ G f4 {2 h
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
" z9 V, ?- S+ G( U3 s6 d3 s$ [8 l- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. $ z% l( Z) j6 K) @
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. p! f' h+ d/ p' f5 p, E3 S# E
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. Z, f/ C) l2 d$ ]1 |' v
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Strong leadership skills
/ G& x& w6 _9 j/ `- A minimum of grade 12 diploma " r( b7 B, g: S* p1 L$ ?. s0 } d
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills : X/ s. k0 m: E3 w, z
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations ! ?1 F r3 g8 N7 O, a9 a4 c
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.+ W" Y) D- l% a) ^
