As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

" M9 s" q3 I; P0 y, |4 x- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
2 V: K2 j. f0 E8 ~9 {- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
; j0 f% h- X" f! ~- }7 }- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
$ D7 Y0 z( a' E- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
' i4 ?$ o8 L) i* X# J; t' p- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 1 V. j L n, a1 v8 p' a
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 2 r- y& }! |, O5 Q* a J, L1 l
- Managing shift expense budgets.

- Previous supervisory experience
4 `+ e7 {. n. W- Strong leadership skills
1 g K" E/ I1 U# {5 c2 |: ~" i0 c- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
1 F3 d& ^1 g, ~7 q5 B- p: E/ ]- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
" j5 E, b8 ^$ f3 ?% E% ], d- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
: g5 x; i% z5 {; }$ @6 {- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
