Job Description :  Description of Accountability

* U' Y, N+ Z% S0 O  z3 Y/ aAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
6 \2 N4 ~0 ?) W2 E- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
0 f3 v9 a& Z9 l3 h- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
* k3 Q# ~; G0 K3 o- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements
# r; w* \' l7 K- L* }  u
2 c; ]" }5 u2 A$ K, `) \- Previous supervisory experience
: l" e4 Y6 M2 o6 U0 H. R) v- Strong leadership skills
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
