As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:5 s5 W: [0 i8 e0 D9 ^( A
/ N6 N0 d8 l% O( {, J. }/ v1 w8 C
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
& G$ h0 @ c }! m. t6 S- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
0 q$ H7 t7 J2 c1 V. x$ M- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. ' F) S! W- n- f% t+ W; a$ V$ {
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. ' d& Z' C7 e. ?3 f2 ~) |
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
" o/ J: d7 H) n& d- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ( _/ e$ X3 D# Z# p
- Managing shift expense budgets.

- Previous supervisory experience

- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 6 Z. T1 A# ?. k& @
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 7 f; t5 A( x; M3 S
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
4 D6 c1 T5 h- `$ b- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
