The Alberta government has an online source of data known as the Alberta Land Titles Spatial Information System (also known as SPIN2), from which a limited amount of information is available for free.

1. Visit https://alta.registries.gov.ab.c ... temunavailable.aspx, click on the 'Guest Login' button, and agree to the terms of use:, y. Y# j! K7 g* w6 X/ C5 g1 U

7 E9 A, y6 V( g2. Click on the 'Search' button at the top of the next page:5 Y: s4 C+ r7 h, X* b

4. Enter the address in the fields at the top right and hit the 'Find' button:$ y9 V1 P/ B( F$ _+ ?- a

6. Once you've identified the property you want, click on this little icon in the bottom left of the screen, under the 'Tools' functions:$ a) a; u+ T- H- t {

7. Then click on the property you want and it will open up a new window. In that window, click on the little binoculars icon under 'View':8 M( q# I9 @* _# j3 U% \3 h- W( B

1 A6 X. T& x" z8. That will bring up basic information about the property, which usually includes the 'value' and 'consideration' of the most recent transfer of ownership:' ~% E5 u, w; g, i- ]
