In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

Lead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
$ f$ v( ?2 O/ G$ xAdhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
1 y' |& y$ l* S5 R: K" P$ k/ [Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
& Z' m9 e1 k; k' o% Q4 A. }0 P8 QBe accountable for decision and actions
8 n. k+ J$ u5 r3 NMitigate risk to the organization.
Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
' _; Z0 ?3 |+ H$ F• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
3 ]  a0 o* v8 P9 P/ t. _Experience:
& ~5 a0 g. d; a  `  ~9 }' x
" t6 `+ A: s  O* c6 p* iDemonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
Public speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
) a4 H2 x  s) T0 ZSenior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.

2 V6 j! V# j/ L1 A- H
Current or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).

Current or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
Maintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
Center objectives.
