LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
/ V7 u! ^" l3 [. ^4 d6 W1 ]" vSALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
! ^& }7 D( h  C! E• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
4 {* }) F% E, g   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
& f1 o! E5 X5 ~- [: z   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
7 s- i6 Q# O1 n) K9 F   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
- S% r3 ^+ ~5 E+ W6 x  F   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
* r6 Z1 t8 v4 `' {- b6 f2 W• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
% [6 z  X! p6 X/ Z+ J/ {3 C9 `• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
  m! p! M3 F! L• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
' G7 v9 c8 V# t2 ?8 D• Ability to work in a team environment
1 s+ x6 f" G$ V4 ~• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
3 _2 }" ^- A* J5 ]$ l9 r$ C• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
- T+ x7 ~; H) n  @9 J' T   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
4 @) N; H0 }: s% N; R. n   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
" j8 A7 C- N  w  b- U0 Y) V   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
' C3 C4 `( L$ R% ^. u• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
( D2 a- e$ q5 M5 I; R• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
9 F3 y! n* v1 v+ F/ d• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• Have led medium to large sized projects
