LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

% i3 V2 R5 T1 n  ZRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
  M8 f+ \6 W: I5 a  W   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
" O! K, b; ]+ A   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003

   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
( P% b: P( I, r8 l; a2 T& G   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
+ e1 @4 Z5 u5 w) U8 E6 Y: I; F4 V   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
/ }1 U' ~) L8 M8 \8 r  Z) m) M• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
" V6 J$ \7 v, L, kSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
) N0 b& T( l0 S; p& O: e• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
' k: x/ [! ?  {$ L" [) B3 a1 i' j• Excellent written and verbal skills
2 Z8 [+ G, ~1 k• Ability to work in a team environment
5 ^1 J. V( }6 I/ T• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
3 A6 i# k0 J( E* A5 s$ [• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
* J  \" I  m2 r% D6 m1 \• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
2 I7 v. P' w% L. C7 j2 a6 c   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
% {' k# v7 ^3 Y+ [6 n   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
8 A+ ~+ d6 G3 V/ W! \' q: p; V• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
  X6 y6 v  c" c; W2 w! y# M• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
