POSITION HOURS: 8AM – 5PM
EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR POST SECONDARY
LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
' F/ ?* n3 T% o" U( @$ V9 k- H7 M   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
. s0 C8 U8 |* z, O2 H: q   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
0 I& o& c& u0 _   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
8 ~1 t6 G7 [) E' m! E4 T, w   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
0 B9 F0 B# L9 e( k9 x   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
# a8 N% p; }3 ?! i   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
6 }- K0 Y& @$ W% X$ \# N' ]: A• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy

   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
! [8 I/ A: d. v% h/ b   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
; V, \3 t& p7 q4 L$ F   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
  C! J0 ], }6 K# n) L, @& t# A   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
( K: t' E  c) d" U• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
3 o2 J6 v4 j; l) ]9 I* L+ O• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
: r" a, ?$ L, c8 H7 b• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
0 k: @- y' x" u, ?( B8 W" o& o) }- ~• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• Have led medium to large sized projects
' L; L) f) t4 H( l$ m# j• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
