RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
0 x: _6 U/ ?9 ]5 z2 v" i# Q   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
4 @4 C! j7 H/ |1 }$ J/ ]   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
: ?* A3 X- g* K/ l& B% F! l) d   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
$ s: c- \' v* a3 J! c+ ~   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
& e5 j5 O+ o4 ?. n2 o• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
$ M  O* J( L% q9 C) R' m• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

8 k9 V$ P! U  \$ Z( S* ISKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
/ Y2 z! r4 W8 d, n9 z4 y/ l* j" ^• Ability to work in a team environment
2 t! o* h' @5 y9 [1 S9 d• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
9 w* S) U/ R4 g$ ~• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
# V4 `6 K* N6 O# ]5 f   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
% _9 I6 N  E& T* v& C) e: N* \   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
% E& W/ N  S1 m6 T  w5 G+ {   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
. Y4 d+ _# l5 [; Y% p2 L• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
, S% c1 E- T. y, A• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
" u1 f7 m2 p! m# y• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience

& R$ l+ e3 M0 k  J• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
