Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
2 Y2 L# m3 j  Z" d" C- [- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
3 s5 F; M/ [! k( Y) m2 p( U- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
. s' D& ]# }3 }/ Z- Work night shifts, as necessary
) J3 c- m3 `% o& v* l- YRequirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
! A7 c, O5 v3 }+ L! l- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
5 @; t: {& p2 O5 l. t6 J" l- Good proficiency in English.
7 R4 c9 L* W- @, u$ }, p- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
) ?1 Y8 f  ?- x3 |" `( RWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
