Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

4 P* j- x5 B8 zAfter 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
* [* B+ R5 F' L0 u" Q•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
5 T, T, U' n; L- s, n& s( i•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
% H- M- f! x8 w5 `•        Prepare financial statements
- A+ ~+ B/ C2 G6 s•        Prepare corporate tax returns
2 m$ Z9 M2 f* l* L•        File GST returns
•        Process payroll
•        File T4/T5 returns
$ r# i  p1 [% _, `' w•        Prepare personal tax returns
) L7 p2 }' Z! y1 K. ?, b; ^5 e•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

; K  ?8 c) n8 }7 X: HThe position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

5 {, r3 e1 q  a! O. ^2 u* z0 q1 PConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

$ P+ ~7 R1 T0 |5 J4 w) q' g不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
