We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.1 }4 U7 W' x/ z

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.7 e/ ?5 W2 ?. q2 T$ Y. ~
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.1 P1 A4 S! J7 k) b" E
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible* e7 |& m# [8 K7 l. B# C8 W: u
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

$ E! |& a! `0 Y' V C• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role- h( D. ^7 q4 K1 Y0 }( O
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study3 E- i6 ]$ Q; D/ W
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills; D. P' w6 k# O
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
