We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

6 a9 k8 n5 ^1 S, s$ v6 [1 a/ u• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.2 n o/ i* D' E
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.* a$ I6 G1 C4 r( p' L0 _. k7 H k
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
9 X5 w+ i5 G+ v" H- { d( |' r• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
( q/ U& c2 I) I7 X( _• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills3 S1 H6 U$ H7 z6 ?$ ]
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
