Award Winning pianists Kerry Waller and Yoana Kyurkchieva present an eclectic piano duo recital featuring works by Brahms, Lutoslawski, Poulenc and Shostakovich

Kerry Waller studied under Dr. Jacques Despres at the University of Alberta. In 2014, he won the Grand Prize at the Canadian Music Competition which culminated in a performance with the Quebec Symphony Orchestra.

He is currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance under Paul Stewart at the University of Montreal.

Yoana Kyurkchieva received a Bachelor of Music degree and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance, chamber music, collaborative and pedagogy from the National Music Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. She has won many prestigious piano competitions and scholarships worldwide.

Yoana recently earned her Doctor of Music degree under the supervision of Dr. Jacques Despres at the University of Alberta.
