* ~& l' R- M k- GEDMONTON — The West Edmonton Mall has reopened after police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday morning.
( O( k0 l0 P- A9 A
7 m4 P9 |: @# {/ S) CThe item, which turned out to be a DVD player, was reported to police just after 8:30 a.m. and officers swooped in to shut down entrances to the shopping centre.

Police evacuated the mall, and a short time later determined the package was merely a DVD player left on a bench outside the SportCheck store.
