Plant Payroll/AP permanent position

Your job responsibilities will include:
! ^9 H. H! L" Q; H6 c•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
# n" j5 c# N2 ~; Y& |" Y( `•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
, D  L3 E* @2 J$ F$ c' _•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.
( C, ]" {9 O3 C: Q; o) w4 X•Perform AP Invoice matching
4 k! b( D+ `+ P4 G# x6 j•Prepare month-end AP accrual

+ n% E/ q2 f: F# i) I# {The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
