A heating and ventilation permit is required under the Safety Codes Permit Bylaw when installing or altering heating and ventilation equipment such as:

( i, Y- t2 d% l: S. h6 mHVAC systems,
make-up air units,
boilers,
hydronic (hot water) systems,
kitchen exhaust,
heat recovery ventilators,
2 ?% D5 a4 F* R# l' b/ n- fventilation systems.


Renovations/Replacements/Alterations to Existing Systems
Heating and ventilation permit is $100/address or unit plus the Safety Code fee of $4.50/address or unit

我是2012年买的房子， call 311 时得知是前任房主2009年申报的permit。

$ R6 @3 L4 M8 v: V; ]3 Oheating and ventilation 已经做好， 只是差 final inspection而已， city的进度真够慢的。

但是这里办事都是按规矩做， 没人诚心要为难你。
