I have been looking into Windermere.
6 X$ r; p+ Z8 v- d& YMy personal opinion, Ambleside South is the worst of all Windermere sub-area.

As you said, traffic is an issue, you can only take either Ellerslie Road or 170 St.5 o; |2 H* w/ g0 \
Just Ellerslie is serving many sub-areas, Glenridding, Graydon Hill, Kerwick, Ambleside South.
2 o5 x4 U9 x. X" P$ wThe City just did some upgrade to the road, and I am not sure if there is plan to expand into two lanes.0 O* V5 C S: }- j
; w0 V8 J9 c) n2 J& b, S$ \$ I6 KSome people already mentioned here, AS is very crowded.4 ]- V. k8 ~7 i

What type of housing you are looking for?
9 e" a+ e' y) i7 c" y% P" C PThat area is full of duplex and rear lane houses, 100% sure parking will be an issue.2 z$ L# I6 i9 P2 L- g) W) q
Don't understand why people with detached garages like to park on the street.

I am looking at single family home and finally picked The One. |
