This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible).! I6 R% i- {3 z
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic : e1 c* P7 R2 f) f' v9 l' D. s0 Dcondition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and . E1 Q9 A: k; H6 b' } o3 d# }• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or / W1 {/ ]7 h+ V# C• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy. 7 F# J2 K9 z: I/ C% H- qIf “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
