engineering isn't just math, but the application of math and theory. based on my experience, finding work with a civil engineer degree isn't that much easier and better than an accounting degree. you don't need to do any physical work if you can find an office job. ' J" {7 K& P3 _' J

civil engineering的工作可以在办公室搞设计(进入工程设计公司),或者在工地施工或检查施工(进入建筑公司或监理公司)。如果数学好,又对物理感兴趣,可以学这个专业。/ m- f: }3 |( n. ~3 \- u& T
Do not switch to Civil Eng unless you like it very much. Know a white guy, Civil Eng master degree graduated from U of A this year. Still looking for a job. The market is smaller than accounting, either you have a decent big company/gov job, or you have no job at all. For accounting, you can always find small company jobs when you are not ready for big company/gov job.
