(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

information that will make your transition to the University community 8 v- p8 H) k$ y) \

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit ) @) p/ {2 s" {# A/ p

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds h1 J' I U* c% ?5 c% W
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically ; {+ _0 [( h' G' S* j( ^
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
4 d3 f% ]3 y. _1 Hof directional information.( L. h! T3 o4 V P3 t7 R
1 \# h& X+ ^/ n2 G) ^2 rBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
& d( X9 M2 g; w/ h' Q8 z( I Yactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 1 a/ i/ m/ e2 l4 j
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 9 q3 U8 b! c1 H& M0 M. m
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on ) E5 J8 X; b- T; X6 C; P# H
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,

+ N$ C E$ J! z. r: U+ m6 l+ iBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
9 t, n$ w7 D$ a6 t Yto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from # X* L, r! b: H: U1 V
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your - }& v/ A4 r$ n0 ~; Z0 d5 q$ S Z" Y2 D
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
, }( _. L, \' Lyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 4 u$ ~ B6 A% ^8 C q: w( w
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus ' r1 {9 q$ {' _/ d0 t
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
" E9 a+ S8 C/ i3 _Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and ( o' R$ _( |/ b' _; P- \ L
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
) m( b/ K" K/ N. o- M$ V5 i @two days of Orientation).
