" @6 W3 ^5 j* m/ K(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
5 C7 \2 \0 c& M1 G" e0 ]7 E5 Tattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of ; s$ i3 z; N/ V0 ^+ x/ g
information that will make your transition to the University community , P' o! k4 c) L) H$ B

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

f* \. j9 B2 H# \9 o0 rBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 5 W/ k. r1 a/ E3 Z
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 7 y( L9 H- c$ N* ]* d
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
# X' Q% b6 \& M# N9 A- [# p* ?September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
" N0 f8 }* N5 M' Q! ]+ Z+ r8 Aand then continue to meet with for the entire year.3 S. d$ U% C& @: i+ g) Q
$ c3 x" {: ?0 a# k( }Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
2 d7 X; R0 L, e& I( A. e0 O; W1 vto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
4 v( p% `7 o/ ? l# k, L( Kyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
+ ]8 X& W. T5 q2 P& }9 pONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
; f' |# S( Z5 H4 Qyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 5 Z9 u& {3 q/ V% T+ Y# B- L
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus " u) I' K* o/ O( r+ M
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic ) }! x0 Q$ a5 e% Z8 B3 i( d
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
; _6 S* z7 x+ g9 @/ Hbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the * }, d- ?4 q" D' q4 r' _
two days of Orientation).
