; {$ T7 `4 t4 C( q: Q0 d7 A- ]To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.+ K! k' v* L) j x

Primary Objective/Duties of position:
* j6 X1 C/ ` v& X9 I. l6 p$ m1 C2 n) R+ U0 k& n
Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
2 o3 o" _5 S$ L6 c2 l/ R# B Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
% x8 [" p' _. L) p! @* k- t Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients9 O; e6 Y6 q: A0 Z- t7 \% J
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
4 t# \! v4 C3 X: O3 n5 _ Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals- t3 ^: D/ u* w' Y# S! a$ ~! e
Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
3 c* x8 J. g3 o Actively participate in training initiatives9 x! ` o, R- n& a3 C6 z8 l
Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:+ t- _9 r7 ^2 d8 h. Y
+ s* J7 ^: O' Q( D
High School and or Post Secondary Education& u/ R, F7 g" h) C
Previous customer service experience
1 [* U+ U$ q9 | L Previous sales experience an asset
* l/ r0 \( s. h7 R/ `% L General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
, @: Z4 e2 p& K8 Y+ r6 O Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully' v2 u2 U( |1 j+ C
Strong analytical and organizational skills4 l: @! [: V6 H& Q \- z2 x. H) V
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
