Position Summary:
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:
, X  \0 r! z+ {6 w+ N' z5 v
+ H( x" h# k, J) B    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
$ d1 @& ~4 E5 g    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
* c4 m2 g# B  C- W5 ]    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
9 y; G& b0 I$ }: v! i9 H" B' [    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
3 m+ I0 X8 @+ r7 O. V    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
9 W4 v) |5 |0 S( m1 q) S    Actively participate in training initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
6 D. ^$ e4 R0 f' d( O3 G- m; l, e
    High School and or Post Secondary Education
    Previous customer service experience
4 a# b( d5 C. p, A! l  |    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
& S- V& L2 e, u" k) f( V; Q  [- c; z    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
) a! `7 M  _' Y' ^9 b! I& b    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
