Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales- v' M: _) b, [$ @8 I4 ^* j0 _

; i( } ?0 u! w9 Z6 n! j1 Z• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

$ k) {9 I. f8 J- O/ g* W• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

! F$ y+ r/ ^2 _' l0 K• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.- |: T$ A' x z, [# h' o# j) H

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.8 T+ n: H# R. K' s8 P: b2 l" A; b3 B: q

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

Job Qualifications
7 U! `6 D3 Z9 l& F& s9 [• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
% o* |& P! N+ ~1 n3 i; O
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
( p, j$ \" M E% [7 B! z
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
, a9 j. a& s1 x, \+ I4 K- t& l% i
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.. N! l7 Q8 d% i0 K$ |& ^

• Travel within the assigned region.

• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
