各种路的名称

不知道有人问过没有? 哪位大侠来解释一下各种路的区别
Avenue, street, Boulvard, drive, way, trail, 还有啥呀

Let's look at some well-known roads in Edmonton:

Whitemud Drive
Wyte Avenue
Calgary Trail
Gateway Boulevard
Belgravia Road
111 Street
Kingsway
Windermere Way

Locals do not really care about the differences between them. You cannot induce the general difference from the particular examples. People just need more variety.

And more with special features:

Crescent,
Link,
Square,
Loop,
Wynd,
Parkway,
Freeway,
Highway
.......

把偶理解的列出来，望指正：

1， avenue 就是东西向的路，street就是南北向的路。
2， boulevard应是从法语中借鉴过来的，是大道的意思，即市区主干道。
3， crescent应该是道路旁半圆形的街道。
4， trail 应该是高速在市区中的那部分。
