Key Responsibilities are as follows:# p3 U9 `8 Z i! v" i
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services ( O, y m K w4 f- n
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
; n; ~/ N9 T; u- e/ x•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
1 Y3 n8 s- m4 @2 b•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
8 R) O* y# x6 z: u0 G•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
5 D+ V2 W9 g" P+ {•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;/ i8 v9 c; ?* }) `4 s
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
: S: ?9 r8 t+ H3 }* B7 K) y•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
8 g* e" G2 }, ^5 ~2 h! e•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential ' `0 K" [7 ]: {4 }3 ]
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
