•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
p1 G( v; U* }4 b! t' j+ I' g•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
& }$ C& T6 K3 O, V. m9 C6 \•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
+ }& ], O7 x1 }& Y; [" t•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
3 }( ?2 F$ O+ N( M% U•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

% H5 ^6 Y2 \" a; H- A+ ]Qualifications:# _2 E2 k, X1 B& P- e$ V6 _$ c, i: n; Q
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;3 ~7 ^" @) y* b+ ]
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
3 c& Q& ?: f; _" x9 x•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
! n4 ?* j/ U, y5 P, P•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential + }) X) h$ z7 ?; h) v
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
