Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

6 v6 v: H7 b; k( B# k( W, }5 T: x! P1 QWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

. _+ \+ {1 s2 V8 @+ _The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
2 l+ e/ w- R7 q+ ?- o Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
) d8 k$ }: \2 ~$ G5 s* r Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
 Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
. Z9 o  i, \% ? Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
5 ]/ Z7 u0 [+ p9 v' m1 t- C8 A Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
