最近大量成功人士包括妇老幼加入冰钓活动,那就得谈谈fish这个词 & Y# ]8 l; b3 \4 A5 t( wFish确实是可数名词,又是不可数名词。更特殊的是它的复数形式并非我们认为的那样。 0 ?# l K6 M0 E7 nFish作为食物原料来讲的时候,是不可数名词。我们i说I ate an apple 但是不说 I ate a fish(不知道在猫的语言里是不是这样讲), / R( M9 D1 R! d! d3 Y说I like seafood and I can eat a whole fish for dinner.还差不多, 通常就说 fish。这时候就是不可数的。 7 a" Y6 y( S9 R5 D" x% r1 R( u4 _我们去钓鱼的时候,fish就是可数的了,但是记住,你钓了几条?one fish, two fish,都是fish,而不是 two fishes。3 I$ G. f+ E" N S) w8 u/ E
难道fish的复数就是fish本身吗。也是也不是。同一种Fish的复数就是fish,fishes是用在不同种类的fish时候 " {! Q; y$ C- U9 R% z" x

According to the Oxford Dictionary, both fish and fishes can be used as the plural form, but fish is more common. 1 a3 l( R T6 _. `7 G& g' m7 |; W# \$ A2 l& Y* z4 t
We use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes. + W3 c. m( ^3 m# l9 I: x; r: Y$ X: w( ~0 m& [
Fish is uncountable when we talk about the meat of fish. For instance, I want to have fish for supper.
