Fish确实是可数名词,又是不可数名词。更特殊的是它的复数形式并非我们认为的那样。( T4 w8 q% r) {* S6 ?
Fish作为食物原料来讲的时候,是不可数名词。我们i说I ate an apple 但是不说 I ate a fish(不知道在猫的语言里是不是这样讲), . [3 i& A& ^; R4 q- c说I like seafood and I can eat a whole fish for dinner.还差不多, 通常就说 fish。这时候就是不可数的。- ]; l$ t% D( ^; B: o% u% P( c
我们去钓鱼的时候,fish就是可数的了,但是记住,你钓了几条?one fish, two fish,都是fish,而不是 two fishes。+ r. ^ X; O6 u: d6 T' P8 B9 i! {/ ~
难道fish的复数就是fish本身吗。也是也不是。同一种Fish的复数就是fish,fishes是用在不同种类的fish时候 7 x, q$ ^1 x- l+ @/ J+ r9 e! }

We use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes. & J/ ^ n2 S+ r( T E ) d3 J) @0 J) |. gFish is uncountable when we talk about the meat of fish. For instance, I want to have fish for supper.
