Job Description:2 }9 B. `" c) T. e3 ^
To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.0 H/ h- O" {, q  s$ b6 H: P3 h

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.3 E  j% ^+ z, d, m: g
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;( m2 Z; H! E% K5 s, N
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;. ]. d$ `' a/ _# V7 ]: ~1 J# Y
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
. w6 }: I' q& P5 T# L6 J9 o$ z• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.+ a2 L# A$ n8 U( Y
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;

( J5 S! [3 z& k, o+ ^• Participate in trade shows;
/ u/ i) ?5 w4 a/ d1 B6 m• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;; O+ e+ O. @1 l; m" w
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

/ v! n1 x0 P+ x: x) A• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
* a$ d0 b1 L2 Q/ `+ e•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
$ t  f3 `0 Y9 v9 f+ ^• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;4 {% i  s8 o: a4 X1 Q
• Ability to lead and develop;
) g: r7 ^" V) u& r0 v, d5 W• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
8 ~1 w$ f# j1 M* o• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
$ u/ q% e( A6 C$ ]5 W+ F$ U• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;

• High level of creativity and innovation;
