To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

! b5 g! j1 V; S: A# x• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
0 ~$ M4 C+ I, `- ?! M• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
3 c1 z; a- k  }  G• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
- I- w4 P, w( }7 ]; v• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
: M# \% H- o1 y3 _1 ^& o• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
- m# P. U9 `2 }• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
, M2 z. r* g" K- Z0 i4 G•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
" A( L8 D2 y2 S• Ability to lead and develop;
8 E/ N/ u+ s! y• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
0 X0 O; E) a0 M" E" @7 K  a• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
* Y+ p& ]' d, @4 z• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;
