To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.4 C* a# t. r9 k  ~' M

! b5 g! j1 V; S: A# x• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.( w  d7 e' H6 d
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
0 ~$ M4 C+ I, `- ?! M• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
3 c1 z; a- k  }  G• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;0 C* G+ ~2 F- Q% [  z2 Z8 k
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.4 A$ o; I: C4 f4 I
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;8 ^4 p& \% i/ x$ F
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
- I- w4 P, w( }7 ]; v• Participate in trade shows;1 D2 e0 R! U& B) k
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;! F; ^5 N4 W% D. t5 d! [. G5 C
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

Requirements:
, M2 z. r* g" K- Z0 i4 G•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property$ Y6 y# j& @2 w! V/ D0 ]3 k5 \
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
" A( L8 D2 y2 S• Ability to lead and develop;
8 E/ N/ u+ s! y• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;5 c5 N$ `4 w& d) J' M% f6 b2 ~
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
0 X0 O; E) a0 M" E" @7 K  a• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;

• High level of creativity and innovation;
