Location: The job is based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, however frequent travel to project sites in various provinces of Canada is required.

3 q% M: K) }+ ?- `& j& X) {3 z$ ?- Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment
( O$ i' r0 x" O3 s0 e9 w+ b- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form to determine layout requirements2 d- K" r1 G" i" l4 y( c" y: ?
- Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines, J2 Q3 v0 e! r/ Y: a" ^
- Select type and size of pipe required
; [, U! _) ^/ E ~' E- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools h7 n7 l9 S% L2 q9 r1 B
- Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system0 X d [+ I5 |- }% e
- Install supports, valves, piping and control systems

- Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system+ B# L- i+ \- y: `: I
- Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system

- Other tasks related to pipefitting as may be required during the course of business D- O P; J6 Y8 P f

Required Qualifications
& G3 k2 B; |! \: `9 b2 ?& R0 T5 G$ K
! J$ r; `% ^1 C2 Y, H; w- Completion of secondary school& e2 {! A- m: Z# E1 `5 C
- Completion of formal Apprenticeship Program of four- to five-years or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in pipefitting system installation ) L5 J! W2 Q- N2 F
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals2 f, D/ Z/ ]& Q4 Y# O
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence2 I- ~/ E; b1 K0 o
- Pipefitter trade certification is considered an asset8 N; B, j+ Q4 q( l* N) d
- Safety tickets are considered an asset$ Z* _4 C& \4 E0 x1 q
- Valid drivers’ license is an asset! Q2 t" B7 _7 j1 [) `" v q
