最近有没有团聚移民下来的？貌似该政策了？

刚收到团聚移民的信，信里说 we pleased to tell you that you met the sponsorship immigration and  your application is complete.
9 j1 M+ Q. P, u0 E  D% L然后又说 the Canada Immigration Center in Edmonton will contact you. By the time of appointment, you need to bring an original document 。。。。。。
2 M- h0 D8 h5 A) ]  g( J罗嗦了半天，也没看到要我邮寄护照啊
; n4 s! M( w& ]( ~我记得以前不是有人说收到移民信以后，要在多久之日内邮寄护照吗
现在政策改了？在edmonton 就能给移民卡了吗？
还有，信里说Edmonton immigration center will contact you， 我都不记得我留了哪个电话了，我是要等他们给我打电话还是我自己打电话问啊

+ K' W! X5 e; G4 X8 l0 T如果你是办夫妻团聚，好像一般都是3到6个月，一般都是移民局和被团聚的一方要护照。

如果你是办父母团聚移民的话：
那只是表明你的sponsorship application完成了，后边才是真正的开始呢。
我父母07年申请团聚移民，好像不到一年，担保申请就下来了，后边又等了4年多。

后半部分，你父母的移民申请，和他们体检等等，那只是又一个新的story开始。耐心等等，我父母被要求邮寄护照，护照邮寄后居然还等了三个月才拿到签证。据说这已经算是加快后的速度了。

如果是第一步sponsor完成，那还有漫长的等待。
& Z9 X8 T3 t0 Q( N如果是第二步完成，现在不寄护照了。我是收到的信上直接给了appointment地址，时间段，那一天的上午或下午都可以，到CanadaPlace去登陆就行了。如果要reschedule自己再联系。

Edmonton immigration center will contact you 一定是寄信。要地址正确。你能收到这封信就能收到Edmonton immigration center的信。

我是办的夫妻团聚移民，境内的，我看cic网站上写step1是10个月，这个我已经过了。
我是去年10月份交的材料，今年8月底收到了信。
但是就是不明白信里的 Canada immigration center in Edmonton will contact you 是怎么回事。
5 d/ m( Q* W0 W4 t  |5 m  r/ J) [$ z今天我去canada place 问了，令人震惊的是 Canada immigration center closed 了，只有个老头在守门，然后给我们说从今年的7月1日起，这里就关闭了，目前整个加拿大只有一个电话可以打，然后给了我们一个电话号码，让我们自己去预约。
/ h& J% k4 V+ Y但是这个电话奇难打啊，基本上都是出于busy的状态
8 W5 ?' _. o* A) v3 \. F所以想问问大家都是怎么弄的呀？

就是你的材料被转到local的cic处理了，step2都是这样

Edmonton的CIC会跟你联系，比如补材料或者面试神马的

0 F( q: e( y! j6 q因为涉及到我要回国，我希望能在回国之前拿到PR，这样我就不用重新申请签证了
如果您确实经历过这件事，确定他们会寄信的话，我就耐心的再等等了

现在只是看看你有没有少材料,不太注重材料的具体内容,如少材料,cic会发信告诉你具体补什么,但是建议最好在started processing前把材料补齐,如果被return  for resubmission会耽误很多时间.

) z2 l* ~7 G# R4 x9 F1 Z" dcic收到你补的材料网上有简单叙述:

1 M" ^* N- F9 Udetail:We received a letter from you on xxxdate.Thank you for providing the information.

虽然写started processing,但实际上你的case并没有在开始审理,就是说cic还没有开始看你的材料的内容.(上面我提到过)

审过以后,有两种情况

# {6 [9 ~; |5 y) D0 s& a6 C1.所有材料齐全并没有问题,申请担保人符合资格,会发确定信给你,告诉你first stage of approval,这时候就要恭喜了,没有特殊情况,你的case基本没问题了.(cic会发信通知你)

detail:We sent you a letter on xxxdate to xxx,Canada,  about approval in principle for you to become a Permanent Resident of Canada. If this address is not correct, please contact us. Thank you.

然后转local

approval这种情况下:

2.但是并是所有申请都会通过,这样你的file就会到local office,等待排期面试.

之后的２－４个星期，你会收到另一封信，有一个appointment叫你去拿移民visa,就是好多人一起，大家象发卷子一样，把visa发给你，但一定要个担保人同去．
