Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker- [8 \* K7 U7 I4 P' { Y
Hours of Work: Part-time (21 hours per week)

Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. 5 L! w3 n$ j7 f2 U

Key Responsibilities:
" w- F: H& |4 L% q• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
" l+ _; K8 W" e0 D, T( |• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST1 ?5 X6 }7 M; I3 ]2 h
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately9 v7 V" c k$ ?+ O& ~3 S5 n- V
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
7 ^$ O2 P: z7 E1 R# \4 E• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
, E6 Y- r1 X5 L• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
) `1 e% {3 @. X- ]+ C- W+ E• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
* r, F8 p. e9 ^. g0 Y• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person. d" r8 X: t& ]" M2 B& S4 @) M: ?
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset+ i) J2 q8 p5 F4 q0 a6 t
• Good English writing and oral communication skills. g3 U. R! Y/ \$ Q
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients. t; \7 f9 q' I. f$ M
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook5 }$ ?% d9 }' \/ E' ~! G
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately : b$ B$ X0 m1 o1 \! U3 w
• Sensitive to the needs of immigrants with multicultural backgrounds5 G. x8 C+ u5 p9 J7 j+ z5 ^! G

• Knowledge of immigrant services

4 g1 x; M4 a5 g1 z3 _/ z$ ^& V• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience , i( K! Y3 F" T" N4 e7 T, F& M
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
! Z% k4 Z B1 H. v9 ^/ R• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
