- recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers

: b( x& e9 n5 m2 T# \- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties4 o- t3 k. X' y* b' _7 g
- provide volunteers for various programs

- planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation) S: a A! i; y) @5 Q1 w
- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities0 [( W, x8 I3 M4 y; G L* @7 F
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers : V2 [4 H6 K# ]
- planning and implementing training sessions for staff that work with volunteers % O8 b; i# Y. _0 N: ~* ~8 w
- consulting and reporting to the Advisory Committee on a regular basis 5 d6 ^. a0 R2 N3 `, g' |
- evaluations

Qualifications* S8 W, E. p$ E# u3 ~/ x
- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education
5 ?! ~5 Q! v9 e2 t9 U, Q8 v- good oral and written Chinese and English skills0 a( j! C6 v, Y0 g3 m( x
- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services
4 z% k; `. c* g; {- leadership skills
