Description
$ B8 E1 n: l0 ]+ `Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.$ |& O2 q. q8 [* {  _; [# w
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:4 G5 L2 q2 A( m
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
3 b& N# p8 b  \•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
  B6 l' }7 F( f8 t. J5 I•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development." X: S% `8 L8 {, ~1 ?2 w- R
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.6 m- J- k, F" ~( f% _0 h$ \* @$ _
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 4 ?) x$ [. }6 S5 o
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
9 p$ @- @$ [" H8 E* z8 s. }; b•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.* G2 M9 y& A/ b' c5 v: e/ E
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.+ n2 S6 }. Q8 ~5 g
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
* R% Z# k- g$ T5 A) v$ _•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
6 [# H- d6 `, j•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
6 S5 Y# Q+ @8 S# D( [$ v) _4 o•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.5 R% |6 x; @: R- t( I
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
  ~5 z: V# j, f; z) |7 n•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications
3 H+ e; m( R% i* A' VRequirements:6 {, i  `" |0 d
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
; K# R0 F* s2 v' g•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
7 o: @2 l& A+ ]' A2 t5 T6 }•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
2 b9 E! W6 J% Q2 z4 ^4 E•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset./ X' R& h9 |- [) X4 ?% C; P
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.! q. v1 x$ F: l4 I& z' ?( Y
