2 q3 j% }/ j, i) k* PTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
" V6 ]+ I" T! |& u0 m/ |2 O•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
& [% ^! g8 x% G; E7 h9 f8 v•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
, n% u0 K/ o5 B3 E9 j$ [2 g$ i5 ?•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
! U! `( J6 t2 D) k. }* f/ O) D•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
  i! ~0 M. b  G5 j2 R9 L" E0 ^- n•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
