Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
; N) s, r. B# s9 O" a•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.7 n7 k9 }# R7 @1 c  D8 V
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
3 `# Q  }* j# t5 R$ u0 {% D1 `" S•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
) p, S2 L, v2 e) L! R0 z- j•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
" @+ W, g. D0 z% C•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
  O3 Y/ F/ S. \  X* \6 U•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.& E% X2 s+ e3 |' ~" d" A1 F
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.  }" d" ?3 V  m0 ~  k( z2 q
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
% t  L5 e( D5 b3 r  B•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
) B( a. `" S7 b1 b! m•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
$ M8 v9 O/ B- K/ @, e" H! m! w* @•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.' l  n; N; j$ j+ O
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.3 x) ]# u; R0 U8 z6 I
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.5 X; R: ^; g0 A! E: C8 L& B
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications
' B. ?* u' n& [Requirements:
# n. ?9 A" |) |. M; o. i, B0 y•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. " L. }% h8 r, T/ i0 l$ x% B- e
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
+ Z) N$ e. ?$ v( }8 N, l2 e•        Strong Union Relations experience required. $ S8 M" a8 D) }1 }' G
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
7 A% O% e( h: [" s3 {•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
