it all depand on what you want. a diamond ring can be broken down into the following 4 categories:

the cutting of the diamond is also very important. a well cut 0.5 ct diamond may look as big or maybe even bigger on surface than a 1.0 ct diamond if it wasn't cut properly.

the solitary princess diamond is the most popular style for an engagement ring. solitaty means a single large diamond (not a whole bunch of small diamonds or dusts but with the total weight added to a 1.0 ct) and princess means it's cut into a round shape on top (not square or oval shape)9 L! if i remember correctly, last year, I saw a diamond ring at costco with 0.75 ct, E (colour), VVS2 (clarity), very well cut cost around $12K CAD. comes with a canadian certifiation. |
