Scope and Purpose of Job' h7 _7 {- T! }2 I1 h  }( V
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
' Z( W; L% q3 G+ D" X) gMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities2 L% a; ?8 A' l6 @) n
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.9 e2 Z5 a' c! w
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.2 m4 J+ `0 k+ @8 l; P
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems" V/ ^  V( F& J$ o0 z% |5 l
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release. `+ n$ v9 T$ Z! T- `( ~1 Q
•        Assist where needed in application questions.0 a: t, y. ?1 \
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.4 d5 W2 k' N0 t7 b
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures" ^; b0 K5 ~  J0 i% M5 Q
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
+ k, A$ {, v) M; ]2 x•        Track and report all warranty failures
2 \; G" c: |( n' ^% k- ^8 b' h1 ho        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.: t  O$ T; ]! P" o
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.; O! j% P: N6 q- V& s% F
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
0 c6 N; \7 \6 No        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports% \  l5 A2 W" k
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
! I( ?+ b% m, i% q6 B6 y# w6 ho        Assist in writing and new product specification( k$ K5 [6 Z9 x
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.- A3 y( x- h0 J6 |" e. @
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.

. h3 X, Q+ R3 r, i" D5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
3 Q. C! c6 j( T: y. bList of Skills/Qualifications       
, a7 _  a# w/ C$ t& T+ v2 y) U•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.

•        Proficient in software use and writing.6 x, Y7 U' G; s3 J' L
