The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
+ C# f( ?5 D+ w) L$ B; K2 ^* K• Behavior management
. E+ i( k4 ~7 ?• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
; C! w9 ~, _1 h& `: S+ s• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
$ w9 A& w) s- Y" d$ FTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
: n; p. q$ J: ~/ t" U2 ?; u% }• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
2 X  H5 t. M& |2 t9 e/ d/ d• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

5 r* ?: F, v, L• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
