The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

; h5 A; F$ @8 B* A1 n" OResponsibilities include:
# l# j+ `( K7 p• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
' v" _7 a% C2 n. W5 R) N+ }  ?• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
/ z+ g: D4 X2 ?4 a9 m9 {/ t1 o% A  O• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
$ _7 a' F' O/ ^) Z  @• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
# b! @% Y; l* |; F7 u  dEducation
, H2 Q+ e- c4 F• Completion of a high school diploma
6 r" w2 k& Z, P+ d- O4 b6 b1 N• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
1 J) Q7 g) U; b6 Y2 D* ?• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
6 ?$ I9 z) |+ a  D! x• Standard First Aid with CPR
% i1 L! s, ?/ v. }& C• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
  V) N. J0 A! T3 w• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
: Y* C1 p% v6 M- \4 U$ k• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
2 z( z2 \; W- a• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
