Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
% w. Q  p! `9 m; x% [; N0 d+ HTime:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days

Duties:
+ v& G+ \& u! H# E: H1 iTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
( _! o& H! z  n" X$ v6 @3 m
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
- z- r- O/ f5 U Provide positive modelling to youth
, n+ n& ?8 a7 `0 \( ]% ~ Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
+ s" p4 l3 H/ h. b9 e Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
% C  N, h% q) N) T5 J6 n2 t Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
! Z/ g& |% ~- o$ H# A& @' B: M  N0 o Assist in program planning/design
3 `; Q! K- v  x Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

! j+ [) u3 ^' `! z* z Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
5 C/ Q+ z  G3 ]7 w A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
; y* t- p1 D9 a+ ^ Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
; O6 J/ r0 K( W' O Able to work independently with minimum supervision
. O$ S: G: p- O: Z: P" r Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
( |& ]% h- W5 p( y Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
