Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
: F( t9 u4 d- X4 y7 k3 ]Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
4 K: k* M+ R! ^& ]( QTime:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Program Coordinator:        Daniel SUEN


Duties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
5 s7 \- s1 u3 `8 { Provide positive modelling to youth
7 P5 w, G+ i- { Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
0 ]) t( \9 }' T: \! f/ ?3 { Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
' J0 w" @! g! f Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
* J: _6 z8 k/ w+ A& A- B0 N6 k( Y Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
* s* j4 ^" ~- F7 u Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
) |9 U% h, @9 h2 v Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
* ?* g" v5 C; G0 b! J Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
; l8 [7 z( _2 [- z3 |& c Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
3 o7 V. f  f$ I. ]7 B4 b* L' S1 W Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
. a) _: `2 V4 r3 d Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
