The Position
' }* c. u, }" V8 W( `5 N6 g& ?" I7 h- GThe Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit: A Capital Campaign for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous, is looking for a
skilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
Duties and responsibilities
: c2 V  X: Y+ M, u. p( oGeneral
• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
4 w: a) A( q- ]& }' c• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
- Q9 |3 C2 D9 B5 T& Y, hdevelopment, distributes and files same
• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
• Archives files
• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
. k2 A3 H" i0 P' e& z• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
. f" _. c8 y9 z! P8 G• Appointment and meeting scheduling
• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office
Administration

Accounting
% m* z* S! u0 C) [& S• Accounts payable complete to checks
• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
Qualifications
• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
7 a( Z1 V* T# [' z* \9 C/ u• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
8 C0 k: s  t5 L; |software (Income Manager)
( p! l& `1 {+ X$ l% ~7 B3 d• Ability to flex time as required
! z; M( x  v6 A5 Q• Clear criminal record check
5 R6 o& ^. ^6 o( C% r• Requires personal vehicle
Hours of Work
$ f  W) s7 h4 L, _8 {% o• Part time – 24 hours per week.

grow and work together.
1 `8 P; y% V1 a& _$ N9 t- RVision: To create a legacy of volunteerism in Edmonton, fostering collaboration between non-profit organizations by
3 u7 \4 M$ \6 @developing a sustainable, multi-tenant centre promoting synergy, innovation and community spirit.
Once constructed, the Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit will become a small, working village of charitable
organizations sharing resources and talents for enhanced program delivery. It will provide affordable and dynamic office
and warehouse space to non-profit organizations in need -- and become a legacy of goodwill for decades to come.
