Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
$ e: q- Q9 n$ }& x. \- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
2 S% Z C1 ]+ s# p5 |4 n& w4 R- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter., W# V+ A6 I" }$ I
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
