1. It's cool./ C) N3 z2 n4 }
2 e7 e. N* |- R3 f0 ?
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
: c$ c8 p+ R4 X- O( d    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.
7 x+ s# g. M' N1 ^! E    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)
) H( `7 r: C, k9 ?$ y, U: s& ^9 J7 a# w, i( t4 Q. F
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。 R
She (He) was cool in the past.
9 N+ M# e( r4 @0 O+ o7 w9 c    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫) $ J/ X+ ^9 V2 n9 r$ V
He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人)
' t; G; ?, d3 {: X; ~. c, ^. \. v. q% q# h
但是如果说:Are you cool? 假如说: $ H/ o3 o+ Q& a- B3 U8 |9 r( _; G
    She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not 6 \1 g. Q4 X; K1 C2 v1 K' P
    emotional.
' j4 ]+ f! ]2 ]0 Y    (注:许多华人把 cool 译成「很酷」) $ A$ c# D) {9 f. \

  P4 _9 ?+ d5 u4 u, o$ o2. Are you trippin'?
  [8 E' D! E( b+ C; Z
这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
7 D  k+ l8 w( V- ]1 U7 J6 A    They are trippin'. (= tripping)
9 a( c0 b& h0 L* a    She (he) is trippin'.
' c2 ~( Y1 w0 QMr. A must be trippin'. 5 _$ J" c9 }. l- T
% u  K( ~3 f" h0 a0 S/ i: f
, P- y0 Q9 U2 ], E$ @* W" [3 O, z
3. He is a nerd
( j' {+ h+ P6 O0 i0 Z
(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
0 a" Z: J' K- _# I    He used to be a nerd in high school
% x4 a, v: n8 ]& Y9 D7 x2 O, n! z8 u3 C1 ~
4. Yo baby
9 ?; U: Q* o" c! n% B9 F2 `- N6 z& G7 ^1 |: ?& \6 ?. ^8 D! B
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说:
( r# J5 C  s# l    Yo baby, are you trippin'?
诸如:( n% q3 E& U5 d: N: B) v
May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before. * h+ \1 ?2 l) h6 b3 L
诸如: : q# }+ v. a, K" C7 Z% ^  ~
Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?)
3 s- y: w& }! z* f9 o2 |
3 h: A( [; Z  @4 t7 t( i5. She is a ho
  Y' T+ w* l0 z! f1 C% F' x( |( c: [0 i- k$ m3 i0 o
(a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。
5 |. F2 P# M9 s    They are (were) hos.
0 f5 H, p* o' y6 o# S    There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.) 1 l" V" v. @$ |- z; h. R2 F

0 i2 {) D# z9 u$ |4 L0 R6. Catch you later!
  D) p! c# V' _. V# B# t5 p4 x
(a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)
4 e9 O# c6 G- y% A! b* z* \有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again.
, X% Y' r& s6 V% X3 S; N$ q(我要走了,再谈吧!)
