1, it is possible to grow mould underneath the new top layer if you don't remove the old top layer

( k# ]1 q& k6 C/ x- D3 j$ n8 minstalling the new carpet is very easy, but again it's a lot of physical labour. carpets are a lot heavier than most people think. plus, you'll need to do your own measurements, cutting, transportation of new/old material, etc.

ultimately, you have to decide if you want a professional look and feel or some quick and dirty fix. mix and matching small patches of carpet can be an eye sore in a long run. |
