This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

( ~5 s( }) q# J3 R; h1 I, x! Z2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
- d! a6 W( p- b* q' vMajor roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)
% K3 I. a0 J- `
3) So So:  Magrath etc.
; p/ I$ Z$ |: h: C' S9 b5 |Main entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
3 p2 r! x" M/ _' h/ C6 G( w. S9 x4 FMajor roads on 2 sides
3 i- P" c1 {9 u7 _5 o* ^; K) E( M' g
; V" \, s# }7 G: s  [8 X6 v* Q$ y, c4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
Main entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
3 S- r" R( Q( k7 q9 _, D, ^' NNo Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.

5) Best: Windermere Ridge
Same as 4.
