This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

1) Worst: Cameron Heights

; M+ b2 B7 m& V) Y- ~3 R& U+ w/ R2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
Major roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)

3) So So:  Magrath etc.
Main entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
# I7 L- H/ g3 A' T& X- R, KMajor roads on 2 sides
% C. I) \; y" y$ v
8 n* W+ G3 B/ h8 L4 {4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
Main entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
2 ]! F, S, Z! Z" j/ \No Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.

Same as 4.
+ all in one cul-de-sac
