This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

Main entrance on AH

2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
: M/ m/ Y7 f: L5 H4 }* pMajor roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)
5 M  n' ]9 Q$ y. ^& |8 N
  p4 k  R, f( v6 a* p0 K! j& [4 h3) So So:  Magrath etc.
- P/ c" t5 V( c4 T' \5 c7 SMain entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
Major roads on 2 sides
5 X/ K1 M! c2 r4 [1 k0 {0 v" M+ A
4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
Main entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
; o7 i. ?7 ?9 P! x' K* G1 W* uNo Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.

5) Best: Windermere Ridge

+ all in one cul-de-sac
+ DC1/DC2 zoning
