- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information! |; j* K9 I7 B/ V+ {7 _
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
( j; K! P; O3 E- U) L- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
" {. Q6 K/ I" N! A+ q- provide support to ISP staff5 K8 w9 T& f$ N) N
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members$ F9 }8 L' C" R6 O/ m
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
# U* K$ H$ O& P6 c, [* |- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated: o, z5 k2 T$ ~$ {8 n& a2 f6 L: Q9 M
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants

- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder+ c0 C( u" _: ~; k2 f; }
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.

/ z) i ?" e4 l" Z% x; z- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
* M ~; P. e8 s- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available6 n" P/ x( g! `
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers" w7 e# i: @4 c6 e8 w% q0 M: F4 C
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software1 f" p2 X, h) H+ D8 a9 X
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)* w8 F9 X. |. N0 c' R+ I5 v, V
- good interpersonal and people skills( \4 g) w0 {7 ]# w* ] L8 R

- valid driver’s license
