% S( h, O, i& a5 @0 o3 wThe Human Resources Advisor is a generalist position, responsible for providing a range of support and expertise, enabling management to deliver best practices and human resource solutions which support the business operations of the PCN.

Key Responsibilities
0 J$ R' T! W" R* }* BThe key responsibilities of this role is to review and ensure effectiveness of day-to-day human resources functions, includes, but are not limited, to:

• Provide guidance and support for recruitment, sourcing, job postings, screening, interviews, reference checks, and selection practices, as well as job offers
# ^" f$ \& |! I7 c& A( Y+ D5 r# e: F• Develop, administer and evaluate applicant tests- n* K. Q* w0 O8 S% T9 v* A
• Ensure job descriptions are kept current
' o3 t- l$ Y& b( c• Manage the new employee orientation and orientation programs

2. Policy and Procedure( P) z4 v& K k, x3 \
• Provide recommendations for policies and procedures; when identified as a priority and delegated by the General Manager, develop the necessary documentation and seek approval
6 X- T8 z7 i/ I- m& y% m/ G* t Manage all policies and procedures to ensure consistency, references are correct and there is no duplication or contradictions
% r) x- @6 c6 r7 I• Advise all employees, especially Team Leads and Managers, on interpretation and administration of policies, procedures, programs and legislative compliance

3. Performance Management Support3 w& W. U3 F @6 Z0 d3 C# Q+ E# n
• Monitor attendance/absenteeism and assist with the administration of performance management program* V l" b: F( G4 p! p
• Support Team Leads and Managers in the administration of discipline and employee coaching
/ L. p/ H! ~" `, q$ `1 ?. s% `6 p• Provide resolutions to employee relation issues (e.g. employee complaints and harassment allegations)
+ w [1 k8 a9 o. Z: r: l* R• Conduct exit interviews and provide management with analysis and recommendations" \# j: w1 ^0 U9 r' C$ E j% [
• Member of, and responsible for, the Rewards and Recognition Committee

• Maintain accurate records and compile statistical reports relating to personnel data – e.g. hires, absenteeism rates, performance appraisals3 n. J) y' t! i# O& f! W# o. d' V
• Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices

• Ensure compliance with employment legislation

• Administer and record employee rewards, recognition and incentive programs; G3 ?8 M; R- T' p1 |4 E$ k
• Manage salary structure and job evaluation system, from time to time, as required+ |* m( w! Y) w

• Oversee payroll administration and maintain relationship with payroll provider
& I! k4 b+ b$ I& A4 X8 H• Administer and educate employees of benefits and maintain a sustainable relationship with insurance providers

 Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR generalist (series of progressive specialist roles will also be considered)! x! u0 V1 n3 `5 Z2 T2 E( J
 Minimum 2-year diploma, preferably in human resources or business administration specializing in HR, or related area of study (equivalencies will be considered)/ z, d* T( p/ T. j) `
 A CHRP designation is an asset
Q: J& P3 W5 Q Experience in the health care industry is an asset _2 {# m# @* @* t$ ]
 Experience managing change is preferred4 u3 g$ `7 o8 a! P( [- d" F, Z
 Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
