This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.) J& K: d R$ n0 m& `$ J

• Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms. + H! n* P" D' A. G+ R3 c
• Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time. : E& g) y3 H ^! _* k* \5 c* E
• Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.! ]! y+ g/ N- s5 p8 Y* m& v
) B3 t$ c, k2 X9 t) L
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:; B: c! I% y4 o
• Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
0 a# z! Z: I3 x. l• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
& m: B* B* M+ I3 n" T* I7 }5 h• Minimum of two years of directly related experience.* U! ?7 L9 ~- G: c7 S
• Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.+ K' Q6 Z+ V" `
• Proficiency in use of the English language.
