Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary( E9 C9 ?- i! f& t4 H/ \" I1 t c
Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team3 J. b! O5 l) ~$ E" P7 i0 I$ u: C
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal& \- Y' X. Z% [
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).; T! R. G+ X! `1 ^6 G$ _2 l+ U" p
# R& G: M, F4 {$ h/ L0 O0 c
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

" W$ g' I- `4 \" t$ }/ LMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services% o6 ]7 A/ A l v+ g. f
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s% e2 ^0 u ^6 o5 l) b5 \% ?( j* M
School)+ G4 l5 a, @$ P8 B
Must have supervisory experience
" l3 I8 }" ~( Z/ [8 p% i- r; M# kMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
, v1 G% r. ]/ Y; l/ |Must be computer literate
) ^2 A6 `& K9 u0 d1 d0 ~, [Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
9 T' p+ w R$ d& h' ?Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network! A4 s- v+ q' ?' D/ p8 }
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
; s: ?6 m/ K2 B) X4 m; cMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
