Position Summary
1 E6 k+ F0 i1 H8 ]- GUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
5 Y* G. g W" q; F/ }3 eplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
0 @: V* x: O: yMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
, m8 S! r+ f1 Q% b, `# s2 H" f: K$ K
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.& Q3 x/ c+ |0 D1 w% [( A1 u/ E3 G
- J; R5 t5 n& _) l/ P s1 y" ]Job Qualification
/ |7 k4 k- J" w. ^" V+ FMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services( H" r1 N g3 a* s# K8 `" I' V
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s3 y2 N4 z; S2 k9 i. `
School) i7 F7 R. y# U) q( O
Must have supervisory experience
3 o% n. h2 C) b% |; X1 dMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
$ p" I: ?5 i! f3 iMust be computer literate/ p; X) K' d/ L
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract./ t9 j3 {+ I7 g e) Z3 W+ I: J
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
4 Q, H- b( c4 |" o% T% [$ AMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills8 M- C2 R7 J- R$ D, H$ N- b
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
