Our government recognizes that the Internet and digital technologies are

# h$ z# y% N% E' C4 ?% BCanada’s first comprehensive Digital Economy Strategy, we need to look1 R3 V! F* K$ \/ K, j. r" G3 d
carefully at how issues like UBB affect the big picture. We will be7 y( c# r/ `$ c C4 o
guided by our long-standing policies of encouraging competition and
7 U' ? o, |# V$ s' Jinvestment, increasing consumer choice, minimizing regulation and allowing* T: T: \8 o2 U6 s3 w6 G1 p9 f* w

2 `& E6 u3 e- h. S6 bThe Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has
