' J9 p) ^. o/ b* B$ a Proactively and independently develop initiatives in ethno-cultural communities that
! N9 e! g; J2 ]8 M6 jincrease their capacity to participate fully in the community & ] D3 c9 h+ \3 j E; @9 z9 h
 Develop initiatives that convene stakeholders, community organizations, government agencies and foster collaborations between immigrant and main-stream stakeholders. - F. O1 Q$ c: _5 n
 Proactively assist immigrant communities with: identifying needs, training, strategic planning, board development, project development, community economic development, funding proposal writing, program planning and implementation$ @# f5 _ i& r- k% N7 m
 Develop Community Economic Development initiatives and provide small business coaching to groups and individuals

 Advocate for systemic changes that foster full participation of newcomers in the community

Background & Qualifications:

 Community development and CED background and experience! _) e2 O" T- P9 E! ~ U6 F
 Strong group facilitation skills 5 i# u0 |5 p4 L3 k2 T/ }2 O
 Experience supervising staff
8 ~$ @, e3 l$ ~6 L5 ? Understanding of cross-cultural issues
7 ?6 n2 j' G. Q8 f& E8 m3 ^ Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proposal writing skills

Education/technical skills
