  Duties
) m" K- u3 p/ _6 LAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
6 r& v& B/ O  tProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
( Z" q9 R8 z. e7 dPerforms related tasks as needed
/ c9 z5 q. [8 N' t; j, i- vQualifications
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
( f/ o8 n, d) Z. oDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
& x1 u# @) d- a  j+ Y' PFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
- @  ]6 b. B2 g( {. kRelevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
