Duties
! ~1 E5 r/ S9 s3 T. Y6 A# r, ~Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
! f% h1 |5 v% [' ?- dProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required5 r4 x" K" G, D
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Qualifications0 a. K" g: Z y1 Y3 @
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred9 L7 Q6 p4 S1 H2 F
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred* j1 F( J" z# m; z$ W8 T. a: k
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset8 T( Y% d# S6 S2 Q0 |/ D
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred3 a/ t6 Z0 s# V& _2 h) d
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit, H4 u; {4 D. \
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages/ {" L2 I% t y% G
Ability to adapt in a high technology research environment
