Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
" y4 L" T8 T4 b7 M2 {. nProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
" U$ I) C' s7 Y* l' Z% q& sPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
Performs related tasks as needed

$ V1 Q  I* `2 H, U* F, nDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
" v" @9 j! p" C) WDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
* V8 D+ p9 [& L5 kSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
) V- \: X$ H0 o+ G6 G3 J  t+ f7 KKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred

Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
Ability to adapt in a high technology research environment
