Duties
' v# T/ O; J* d+ w! C3 [Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)# ~$ M* e* h; J& U
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required, \; P( e4 t+ J8 L Z8 R) M1 E1 E
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed! Y, r1 Z. n9 ~6 T( [
Performs related tasks as needed

/ ]% _& W" U) j5 U" Q& A" dDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred/ e9 k; }7 I. A, Y8 n
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
/ v5 X% k" h' |- |! ESolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
4 S1 d/ k, Z' y0 wKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred! O8 O! Z2 I) Y& D/ I. U) F
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
