Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

  `9 O; T' d; qResponsibilities
2 W2 u  `% ^: T: h/ w) U■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
. X; d) j" n( `! X) k■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
2 t9 i4 K) c- V; c* m+ P■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
* M2 j9 J7 h5 o" \' Z8 x' w0 t■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
