Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
! `! ?6 ?# d% h' A' j" {■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
, ?' t5 x1 ]) r) H■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
$ Z! U) ]2 K6 z( i■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
0 H$ E( x( k& d8 g- n■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
5 P& L% ?2 V5 d' [( Q  z, D) I! G4 @. M■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
" f# D! u- ^  A4 ?7 @$ g& ]■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
