Responsibilities
6 k( t/ J+ P( n7 A& i! R# i0 X■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
9 k4 W& \, w; H' a■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
* O! N1 W; N# }; T) v5 tExperience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
  k+ B5 D4 t% e6 g/ T■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
5 `; v  i/ [$ j( O% u) ^; J5 c9 k■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
# H, b% h/ J" o! F0 q2 r5 R  e$ N: n2 }■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
! f" f" q& ]+ R3 R9 A' U8 fKey Traits:
■Marketing skills,
■Self motivation,
■Communication skill,
■Client liaison and business development skills, and
2 Q& \/ N6 z6 j: J4 x' ?■Geotechnical expertise with in-depth knowledge and experience of geotechnical investigations and solutions,
■Ability to travel on a periodic basis.
