1 D( P) k: ^: H% B( Q Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
& F/ u9 t5 z3 l- b& V Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
6 V  A* ~" `1 y2 W: Q: w2 x9 a Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
  r( E; `  a( V  |; X Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

1 D6 T1 c# }; C) ]
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
7 s9 T# u. m' }+ w/ ~" H1 C Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
6 A6 K1 \) i" j! c2 r Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
8 N& p; u1 _. |# `% r Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
. T5 \( j- h7 L Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
