 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.$ k3 x) T9 @/ z4 l1 M* }5 s7 z
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
* x6 n1 U* T( j2 j Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.: M8 t5 k: O* f- m( q1 |& b. H: |2 T
 Completing required paperwork.

 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.+ i7 ~2 }% Y0 p9 L& K$ F3 `
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. 2 m3 [( ~& M$ u! F. p
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
( c4 f5 H$ z) x% v" n* o Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.+ I! z9 ^) d5 x6 G
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
+ m7 u& S7 Q. V Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.% t3 Y W" E6 {* C
 Knowledge of community resources.
) o5 I3 }4 c* _# N Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
o$ v) B# f: h1 A/ s; v Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
+ s- m8 L% W! X% |- ?# R# QThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
