) q' D& l7 z+ l+ k Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
% u1 A) W/ H% G9 R) l$ E: E Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
5 ]1 Y5 P- j8 o% ]& z9 \ Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
3 a) D# j# l3 j9 h% Y! D" g Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
& n7 u- h) @6 i& F Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

. g- \* v' f) V  [3 J7 a Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
$ B& Y6 `% w2 _  J" L Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
7 p+ n4 k$ }( E1 a Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

% H8 o5 }3 |4 Y- FPosition:
  |+ E7 M3 C# ]2 y1 DThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
+ M1 Z7 V5 p! E/ y( ^7 Y  hThere is a 3-month probationary period.
% `5 J6 [' `2 F& DClosing Date: January 31, 2006.
