 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
; ^2 x7 h3 Z! q0 H7 s8 ?# t Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
) e; c& K" {' a7 v$ o3 M9 |* K Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
- P6 s: ~5 i/ ~$ X Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
3 |9 @( U( r" l$ G$ A2 m Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
  M  _7 ^3 Z; D" L6 a2 q9 l Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
2 o- r2 @0 {- ` Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
- v; ~+ g1 m) iThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
