 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
' ^5 u5 a% U9 u4 w: K( K4 ~ Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
8 T5 B( _, {* a Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
( h' s& O" {8 {' G% ^# H Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
/ t9 W3 {9 ~( n, ^ Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
8 J1 V, }3 ?5 V" y+ E2 o7 e Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

2 R. Z! w8 b- m3 C. DQualifications:

* j( S- U& I1 t* p% x Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
" M- [& I+ e* q5 T; T Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
' ]: y( B' p4 a2 k# j Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
  r* b' g' y- c( d. ZThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
( X4 A  a6 n- `2 E9 ]5 O$ Rstarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
