 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.0 [- L( L+ |% l' E8 p
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.

 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.0 {! n2 X1 {' U& s8 q: S
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.3 a# l; Q' F5 d/ q2 k
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
# V* L- d* l7 A l( @ Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
4 L0 r/ K. {- t8 @1 i9 @: G9 z0 E v Knowledge of community resources.9 E, ^% x- D4 U5 d/ }( @
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.9 J. j% i, I- j( G" |- W' @ W
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

7 l2 M, _& o1 v- ?This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
